MOU SIGNING BETWEEN UNIVERSITAS POTENSI UTAMA (UPU) WITH EDUTOLIA EDUCATION AND THREE UNIVERSITIES IN TURKEY
Medan - 24 April 2025, The event of Turkish Universities Fair, held at the Grand Ballroom of Adimulia Hotel, Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia, was also attended by the Rector of Universitas Potensi Utama (UPU), Prof. Dr. Rika Rosnelly, S.Kom, M.Kom. On this occasion, UPU established a collaboration with 21 Turkish universities through Edutolia Education.
Edutolia Education is the official representative for universities in Turkey, providing services to international universities and educational institutions seeking to study in or collaborate with Turkey. In addition to representatives from 21 Turkish universities, the event was also attended by the CEO of Edutolia Education, Ibrahim Albayrak. The Honorary Dr. Rahmat Shah as a Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye for Sumatra, who also served as a liaison for this event. As well as several Turkish university rectors, Turkish alumni, and others. From North Sumatra, Several universities from North Sumatra were in attendance, represented by their rectors and vice rectors, such as UMSU, UMA, UISU, Universitas Darmawangsa, and others.
From Universitas Potensi Utama, aside from the Rector, the event was also attended by the Founder of UPU, Hj. Nuriandy, BA. And also the Director of the International Relations Office of UPU namely Nursyah Handayani, S.Pd, M.Hum. This collaboration will be followed up in the fields of academics, research, and community service.
Following the event, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between UPU and Edutolia Education, as well as with three Turkish Universities, with the signing on behalf of UPU conducted by its Founder, Hj. Nuriandy, BA. At the end of the event, UPU presented a souvenir to the CEO of Edutolia Education as a warm gesture of appreciation and gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the event, and as a symbol of commitment to strengthening future collaboration with UPU.
